It’s true. This is absolutely nothing to do with the Green Bay Packers, but it does have two things that are very important to us here at Total Packers.
1. It has Wisconsin roots.
2. It involves something that’s completely awesome.
Wisconsin-born satirical newspaper, The Onion, is getting it’s own show on comedy central. More specifically, the show will be sports-themed and based on the Onion Sports Network.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Comedy Central has ordered 10 episodes and the show will debut in the first quarter of 2011.
“The Onion Sports Network teaming up with Comedy Central?” said Steve Hannah, CEO of The Onion. “If I were ESPN, I’d consider a whole new line of work.”
What can you expect? Well, awesome shit like this.
