In case you haven’t heard, there’s a pretty big football game this Sunday. Yes, the Super Bowl is almost here.
As a Green Bay Packers fan, it’s tough to have a rooting interest. The Packers have been out of the tourney for a number of weeks and you can no longer root for whoever is playing the Vikings.
If you’re like me, that probably leaves you pulling for the underdog, which, this year, is the New Orleans Saints.
It also probably means that you’re going to take an interest in the commercials during the game. After all, Madison Avenue is rolling out it’s best and most entertaining spots of the year.
With that in mind, we got a sneak peak at this year’s Gatorade spot and it’s pretty cool because it focuses on the NFL playoffs and the teams that are/were in it.
So, you’ll get a little bit of the Green Bay Packers and you’ll also get a little bit of the Minnesota Vikings crying. Overall, it’s an awesome tribute to playoff football and what it takes to reach the highest level. It’s also reminiscent of March Madness’ Prelude to Championship, which I’ve always loved.
Oh, and if you’re a hip-hop head, then you’ll probably recognize the narrator as Common.
Take a look.
