Though he played one on TV, Ashton Kutcher is no Green Bay Packers’ fan. He is a well known bottom feeder, Chicago Bears fan. But today, he had the Packer Nation’s back as he ripped Brett Favre from inside a nice, yet not over the top set trailer.

Kutcher brings up a good point. What type of precedent might this set? I know the New York Jets released Favre upon his request, but what if other disgruntled players want to get away from their crappy team? They can just “retire,” ask for their release and then come back with someone else the next season?
Or maybe Ashton is just doing some grassroots self promotion for his new film Ashton Kutcher The Movie … er, Spread

That’s difficult to watch. I recommend minimizing the browser and just listening, if you have to. Basically, he argues that Goodell should institute a suspension on Favre. Someone shouldn’t be able to retire and then unretire, or at least the Jets should get something in return for Favre unretiring. There, now you don’t have to watch it.
