Strange story coming out of Houston today.
Green Bay Packers receiver Donald Driver has been excused from practice the next couple days to deal with a personal issue. News reports are leaking out now and it looks like the Driver family is in the middle of a major situation.
Apparently, Driver’s father was found beaten and laying in the street. The beating allegedly took place at the hands of two police officers.
Marvin Driver Jr. claims after we was arrested for outstanding traffic warrants the officers beat him on the way to jail.
Our thoughts are with Donald and his family. Coach Mike McCarthy expects that Driver will be back and available for the Green Bay Packers Monday night game vs. New Orleans.
