Free agent cornerback Tramon Williams took a hell of a long visit with the New Orleans Saints that began Tuesday evening and lasted all day Wednesday.
The good news, if you’re the Green Bay Packers, is that he left that visit without signing a contract.
Now it looks like Williams has a choice to make.
Choice 1: Return to his native Louisiana to play for the Saints and probably be a loser for the remainder of his career.
Choice 2: Return to Green Bay, the only team he’s ever played for and the organization that gave him a chance as an undrafted rookie, and take less money to do so, but have a legitimate shot at another ring before he retires.
Tough call.
One that requires some reflection.

The bottom line is really this.
This is the last contract Tramon is going to sign. Obviously, he’d like one more big payday. We’re willing to wager he’s going to get a better one if he signs with the Saints.
He’s not going to have the same shot to win another title though.
So what do you want to do, Tramon?
