Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers great Mark Tauscher sat down with us to talk about the media, Greg Jennings and the 2013 Green Bay Packers. Here’s the interview.
Former Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers tackle Mark Tauscher is attempting to start a new career — as a broadcaster.
The Green Bay Packers have released veteran right tackle Mark Tauscher, ending a stellar 11-year career. Unfortunately, the only question is what took them so long.
Once the new collective bargaining agreement is finished, the salary cap will return to the NFL and 2011’s cap will be lower than 2009’s. The cap is projected to be as high as $121 million, but could be as low as $117 million. The 2009 cap was $122 million. If the 2011 cap is $120 […]
Even though he worked out with fellow Green Bay Packers offensive linemen earlier this month, right tackle Mark Tauscher isn’t sure he’s going to play in 2011. “You know, I haven’t really figured out what I’m going to do yet,” said Tauscher, who’s playing in Greg Jennings’ golf tournament this weekend.
As we told you last week, the Green Bay Packers offensive linemen worked out together near Nashville for three days this week. Tackle Chad Clifton and center Scott Wells, who organized the get together, live in the area. What we didn’t know until today, is who actually showed up.
Green Bay Packers tackle Mark Tauscher was put on injured reserve last week after the Packers decided he wouldn’t be able to fully recover from a shoulder injury. Tauscher has been out since the injury occurred in week four and although he’s been progressing, he would have had to play with a harness if he […]
The Green Bay Packers got some good news on the injury front, Wednesday, which is a refreshing change of pace for the team. The most important development is linebacker Clay Matthews returned to practice after missing last Sunday’s game with Miami. Matthews only took part in the jog through portion of practice, but barring a […]
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers went through a full practice Friday and has been cleared to start against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Officially, he’s listed as probable on the injury report. “I thought Aaron Rodgers looked fine today at practice,” coach Mike McCarthy said. “From my perspective, I would say he’s ready to […]
The Green Bay Packers did everything they could to keep the Washington Redskins in the football game for four quarters. In the end, the Redskins finally took advantage to win 16-13 on a Graham Gano 33-yard field goal in overtime. After a strong first half, the Packers offense failed to do anything of note in […]
If you haven’t heard that the Green Bay Packers have a shitload of injuries, well… then get the hell out of here. The Packers will be down four week one starters against the Redskins this week — five, if you count linebacker Brandon Chillar and six, if you count cornerback Sam Shields. Those players are […]
The Bryan Bulaga era starts… Sunday… probably. The Green Bay Packers are likely to be without right tackle Mark Tauscher, who is battling a shoulder injury, on Sunday. Bedard — who for the rest of his Packers’ tenure will only be referred to by a single name, like Madonna — says the rookie will get […]
We may all look back at the end of the season and note the Green Bay Packers week four game with the Detroit Lions as the point where it all went to shit. The Packers have lost one starter for the season, safety Morgan Burnett. They are on the verge of losing another in linebacker […]
Steffen: After what feels like decades of ineptitude (oh wait, it has been decades) the Detroit Lions’ offseason roster moves had many prognosticators predicting marked improvement over last season’s two-win season. Indeed the Lions are an improved team. Led by rookie dynamo Jahvid Best, the offense has more firepower and fellow rookie defensive tackle/tank Ndamukong […]
See what I did with that headline right there? I toed the company line. Do I believe it? Well, I’m not an idiot, so no. Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy, on the other hand… Look, I don’t want to get into what a complete turd I think McCarthy is again, so let me get […]
Let’s be realistic. The better team did not win on Monday Night Football. Forget that the Green Bay Packers have no running game. Forget that the defense played their usual bend-but-don’t-break brand of football. The Green Bay Packers lost to the Chicago Bears 20-17 on Monday night because they exhibited the same stupid, aggravating play […]
The Green Bay Packers aren’t as strong as they were now that running back Ryan Grant has been put on injured reserve, but it isn’t time to throw in the towel just yet. Grant may not have run for 1,200 yards in each of the past two season by accident, but the Packers have always […]
Maybe it’s time to table the Green Bay Packers Super Bowl talk for a bit. The defense, led by linebacker Clay Matthews, was the biggest reason the Packers were able to escape Philadelphia with a 27-20 win over the Eagles. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense wasn’t close to firing on all cylinders, but […]
No one would have considered the Green Bay Packers offensive line a strength last season, particularly in the first half. Part of the reason was the ineffectiveness of right tackle Allen Barbre, who was eventually replaced by Mark Tauscher. Another factor was injuries. Chad Clifton missed several games, forcing left guard Daryn Colledge and later […]
The Green Bay Packers have released their first depth chart, which gives us a good idea of who is and who isn’t performing well. It also sheds some light on who is playing where. On the offensive side of the ball there aren’t any big surprises. Most notable is that Donald Lee has regained the […]
