The Green Bay Packers are almost at full strength.
When the team hit the practice field on Monday, both receiver Davante Adams and Morgan Burnett were active. We expected that since both guys practiced prior to the bye. What we weren’t sure about was nose tackle B.J. Raji and linebacker Nick Perry.
Neither guy practiced the week prior to the bye and both were inactive against San Diego, along with Adams and Burnett.
Both guys joined their teammates on the field on Monday.
That’s a boost to the Packers defense. Both guys are having career seasons.
While it appeared the Packers were just resting Raji, Perry’s injury — a sprained shoulder — was expected to keep him out up to four weeks.
We’ve speculated that he might be available to play on Sunday, but likely wouldn’t practice this week. His Monday return is a bit of a surprise.
It wasn’t all good, though.
Both receiver Ty Montgomery and running back James Starks sat out on Monday.
Montgomery sprained an ankle against San Diego. Starks’ absence was unexplained, but may not be injury-related.
