Running back James Starks practiced for the first time this week, on Thursday. It didn’t look all good for the Green Bay Packers though, as cornerback Damarious Randall was sidelined.
Starks is returning from a hip injury he suffered during his 112-yard performance against San Diego. The injury kept him in Green Bay during the bye week for rehab and kept him from practicing until today.
Randall’s absence is a surprise.
He has practiced both days this week and hasn’t appeared on the injury report.
It isn’t clear what the issue is.
Receiver Ty Montgomery also remained sidelined with an ankle injury. The Packers will give him until Saturday before they make a determination on his status for Sunday night.
