Yeah. Who doesn’t like tubing?
When I was a youngster, we used to tie a tube behind the four-wheeler and drag each other around the hills behind my buddy’s house. The object, if you were driving, was to try to get the other guy the hell off. And, of course, if you were on the tube, the idea was to stay on.
After a while, the sharp turns and bumps didn’t do it. So, naturally, the only thing to do was to cut the turn so that the rope wrapped around a fence post and then that fucker had no choice but to let go. And there ended our great four-wheeler tubing experiment.
Those were the days, man!
But yeah, the Green Bay Packers. The organization is developing this Titletown District next to Lambeau Field. There are even parts of that aren’t designed to make you part with your money. That in itself is amazing.
Part of the district will be a park. In the winter, there will also be a tubing hill that starts on the top of a building and ramps down.
I mean, we’re sure you’re going to have to pay for that. Can’t have a hill that just anyone can access, you know. But anyway, it will be there and you can supposedly see inside Lambeau when you’re at the top.
The park area will also include a skating rink, a full-size football field and various areas for things like bocce ball.
Now, if they would just bring back Showbiz Pizza, then I’d be really impressed.
