Clay Matthews was on the Dan Patrick Show this morning to promote something or other. Patrick asked him how fans react to him when they see him out in public lately, now that the Green Bay Packers aren’t winning football games.
Apparently, they’re telling him two things — this is what the team needs and this is what you should do.
“This is Green Bay. We live and breathe Packers football. I think the fans are just excited to give you their sense on what needs to happen, as far as how many sacks you need to have, how many tackles or what you’re going to do to the offense,” Matthews said. “But that’s the great thing about our fans. They’re with us through thick and thin… They’ve seen us let a couple go, but we’ll be alright.”
So you see, you obviously haven’t been giving Matthews very good advice lately or he hasn’t been following it.
