With the NFL schedule release came word that the Green Bay Packers were planning to retire Brett Favre’s number when the team faces the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving night. Pretty much immediately, ticket prices for that game shot through the roof.
Someone from the ticket site Rukkus told us that is their most expensive ticket of the entire NFL schedule. They ranged in price from $357 to $867, as of Wednesday afternoon. On Seat Geek, the cheapest option was $391 as of Wednesday afternoon. On StubHub, it was $419.
Other games’ lowest ticket prices are between $114 (at Minnesota) and $279 (Seattle) on StubHub. They range from $100 (at Detroit) to $279 (Seattle) on Seat Geek.
You get the picture.
You’re going to get to pay through your nose if you want to be in the building when the Packers unveil the No. 4 on the inner facade of Lambeau Field.
And as the game gets closer, you can only expect the prices to go up.
