Packers Are Bringing in QB Brock Jensen

Brock Jensen

Coach Mike McCarthy has talked about the possibility of drafting a quarterback this year. Maybe that guy is North Dakota State QB Brock Jensen.

The Green Bay Packers will have him in for a pre-draft visit. Whether he’s draftable or a possible undrafted free agent signee is another question. Our guess is the latter.

Like my boy Kelly Hayes, Jensen is a Waupaca Comets legend. That’s probably not why he’s getting a look from the Packers though.

Jensen threw for 2,793 yards, 34 touchdowns and seven picks as a senior at NDSU. He also ran for another 479 yards.

If Jensen ends up on the Packers, he’s most likely a developmental, practice squad guy. But hey, he’d be living the dream playing for the Packers, so there’s that.

  1. I think that he would be a grade UDFA pick up for the practice squad. The kid is a winner, and super smart. A bit on the small side, but so was Russell Wilson….
