Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was a presenter at the Academy of Country Music Awards last night. Why? No idea, although he was already in Vegas, having played in Michael Jordan’s golf tournament last week. So why the hell not?

Rodgers presented the award for song of the year with actress Olivia Munn in what the Washington Post called one of the most awkward moments of the evening. They weren’t sure why these two were there or why they were paired together either.

The award went to Lee Brice for a song called “I Drive Your Truck.”

We won’t even get into that. Never heard it. Probably never will. However, we did note that Lee Brice was wearing his hat backwards. So shouldn’t Tony Romo have presented that award then?

We presume Rodgers is at least somewhat of a country music fan. He dated that chick from Lady Antebellum for a while and he was spotted at a gig for Florida Georgia Line not too long ago. Oh, and he’s also hung out with Taylor Swift.

So he’s got some country cred, we suppose.

By the way, Olivia Munn — lookin’ niiiiiiiiiiiice!

Arodg is a big country fan. Makes sense for him to be there. Seems obvious why Munn was there- smoking hot! She is busting out of that dress which is an added bonus!

Country song of the year is “I drive your truck”? There’s a reason for stereotypes because there mostly true.

Come on guys this song was written as attribute to a fallen soldier. And it is good one to all who have lost loved ones in battle and how they chose to remember then. On my truck my lisence plate reads ZNME in remember acne for my son.

Had to be a sponsor obligation.

Someone told AR they thought the winning song was ‘I dive your FORD truck’.

Good work if you can get it.
