[tps_title]UCONN[/tps_title]
UCONN has only been playing 1-A football since 2000, so there haven’t been many Huskies with connections to the Green Bay Packers. It came down to running back Eric Torkelson and linebacker John Dorsey. Torkelson probably had the more impressive career on the field (although it wasn’t really that impressive), but we’re going with Dorsey. He played for the Packers from 1984 to 1988, but made greater contributions in the personnel department. He spent two decades as either a scout or personnel executive with Packers. His last post in Green Bay was Director of Football Operations. Dorsey was named general manager of the Chiefs in January of 2013.
