What’s the market for a receiver who tore his ACL during the preseason and missed all of 2013? We’re going to find out when Jeremy Maclin hits it. Before the injury, Maclin had established himself as the Eagles’ No. 1 receiver. He’s never surpassed 1,000 yards, but he’s had more than 700 receiving yards in each of his first four seasons. He had more than 800 in the last three seasons he played. Maclin’s best year was 2010, when he had 964 yards and 10 touchdowns. Teams would be wise to be cautious with Maclin. It’s unlikely he’ll be back to his old self until sometime during the regular season. That could mean Maclin will have to take less money than he expects. His situation is worth keeping an eye on.
