[tps_title]5. Mossy Cade[/tps_title]
Where to even begin with Mossy Cade?
Cade came to the Green Bay Packers in 1985 after playing one season in the USFL with Memphis. He was actually a first-round draft pick by San Diego in 1984, so he obviously had some talent.
In 1986, Cade started all 16 games for the Packers at safety and had four interceptions. Then it all went to shit.
In 1987, he was convicted of two counts of sexual assault on a relative through marriage. He’d spend the next 15 months in prison. And of course the uptight fucks that ran the Packers in the 1980s weren’t going to give him a chance when he got released.
So, enter the Vikings, who have a long and storied history with cons. He’ll fit right in there, right?
Unfortunately for Cade, no. After the Vikings signed him, the uptight fucks in Minnesota were enraged.
“People don’t deserve a second chance! Burn him at the stake!”
So the Vikings released him to keep their idiot fans happy.
