Jermichael Finley is a Go and Other Injury News
Everyone’s favorite tight end, Jermichael Finley, looks like he’ll be on the field for the Green Bay Packers this week.
Finley has been limited in practice all week with a toe injury, but he’s listed as probable on the injury report and guys who are listed as probable play on Sundays.
So get ready for some Big Fin making catches and whiffing on blocks!
The news wasn’t quite as good for left guard Josh Sitton and safety Morgan Burnett. Both are listed as questionable, meaning they’re 50/50 to play.
Sitton is dealing with a back injury and Burnett is dealing with a hamstring injury.
The good news is Burnett has practiced all week on a limited basis. If he doesn’t have any soreness tomorrow, there’s a good chance he’ll go on Sunday.
If he doesn’t, we’ll be treated to another week of Jerron McMillian, although it’s likely undrafted rookie Chris Banjo will also get some playing time.
Sitton also practiced today on a limited basis today. If he sits out, we’ll get to revisit the glory of Marshall Newhouse, who will step in at right tackle. The Packers will then shift either Don Barclay or T.J. Lang to Sitton’s spot.
Monty McMahon is one of the founders of Total Packers. He is probably the most famous graduate of UW-Oshkosh next to Jim Gantner.
