Jermichael Finley

Jermichael Finley has become known for two things during his Green Bay Packers career — running his mouth and dropping passes. Well, good news. He won’t be dropping anymore passes.

Finley pledged to donate $500 for every ball he drops in 2013 to One Fund Boston, a charity that helps people affected by the Boston Marathon bombing. So, it stands to reason the guy who said he would refuse a pay cut will be extra focused this season.

Yeah, we noticed he also said he’s donating $500 per touchdown, but if he duplicates his production from 2012 in that category he’ll only be out $1,000.

Either way, whatever Finley ends up donating, he can afford it. He’s going to make more than $8 million in 2013, which is the final year of his contract.

Now, we know we rip on Finley pretty much non-stop. Hell, he’s an easy target. That being said, we’re happy to give credit where it’s due.

Solid move, Big Fin.

ONLY 500? That just doesnt seem like a lot for someone on starting NFL pay. Thats literally tip money for these guys.

Besides, Medical bills pre person (especially for what happened in Boston) are gonna be in the 10’s of thousands per-person.

Doesnt impress me, then again ‘ol Finn never really has
