[tps_title]Sedrick Ellis[/tps_title]
Sedrick Ellis is what you might call a draft bust. He was chosen with the No. 7 overall pick in 2008 by New Orleans. He’s been a full-time starter for the team in the five seasons since, but they’ve shown no interest in bringing him back.
Why? Well, a mediocre 36 tackles and no sacks in 2012 is probably one reason.
That being said, Ellis is 6-1 and 307 and just 27 years old. He was an All-American at USC and has had some success rushing the passer in the NFL. Ellis had six sacks in 2010 and four in his rookie season.
If someone can motivate this fat bastard, he just might produce.
Mike McCarthy?
Actually, no. Mike’s form of motivation is sticking a marker into the side of his hat and then using it to scribble aimlessly on a dry erase board when anyone approaches in order to avoid confrontation.
“Busy! Drawing plays!”
Dom Capers?
Ah, shit. Dom’s motivational tactics involve going up to the booth and taking a nap. Then, when someone opens the door and catches him sleeping, busily rifling through the playbook.
“Elephant! Where’s that goddam elephant!?”
It’s in the room, Dom.
Anyway, the Packers gave Anthony Hargrove a chance last offseason. This guy would be a better signing than that.
