Jermichael Finley has become known for two things during his Green Bay Packers career — running his mouth and dropping passes. Well, good news. He won’t be dropping anymore passes.
Finley pledged to donate $500 for every ball he drops in 2013 to One Fund Boston, a charity that helps people affected by the Boston Marathon bombing. So, it stands to reason the guy who said he would refuse a pay cut will be extra focused this season.
I'll b donating $500 4 every dropped pass this season 2 One Fund Boston. Now fans can cheer & boo me @ the same time! Also giving $500/TD!

Yeah, we noticed he also said he’s donating $500 per touchdown, but if he duplicates his production from 2012 in that category he’ll only be out $1,000.
Either way, whatever Finley ends up donating, he can afford it. He’s going to make more than $8 million in 2013, which is the final year of his contract.
Now, we know we rip on Finley pretty much non-stop. Hell, he’s an easy target. That being said, we’re happy to give credit where it’s due.
Solid move, Big Fin.
