Contrary to Reports, People are Not Selling Donald Driver Tickets
We weren’t surprised to hear that people were turning around and selling tickets to Donald Driver‘s retirement ceremony — tickets the Green Bay Packers gave away for free.
There was obviously high demand. The tickets were gone in 15 minutes even though fans had to show up at Lambeau on a Friday morning and stand around in negative temperatures.
Well, despite what some idiots in the local media suggested, we couldn’t find any tickets to Driver’s event for sale. We checked eBay and all the Wisconsin Craigslist cities last night and today.
The closest thing we found were people offering to pay for the tickets. Someone in Madison was offering $100 for a pair. That posting has since disappeared, so we’re guessing he got them.
There were also a few vague offers of “I’ll buy your tickets.”
We wouldn’t doubt if a few turdy ticket brokers turn up with tickets for sale, but we haven’t seen anything yet.
However, if you sell your tickets, know this. The Donald does not approve.
