Casey Hayward

We have details of another deal for another of the Green Bay Packers draft picks. This time, it’s the team’s second second-round pick Casey Hayward.

The cornerback got a four-year deal worth $3.31 million. Of that, $1.42 million is guaranteed. The deal also includes a $847,000 signing bonus.

Hayward is expected to compete for at least the nickel cornerback job. He may also be looked at as a starter, which would pave the way for Charles Woodson‘s move to safety. That is, of course, if Hayward doesn’t turn out to be Pat Lee.

The Packers have reached deals with the majority of their draft picks. We’ll update you when we have details of their deals.

Off topic, but I’m really looking forward to the post about the Viqueens finally getting their lame new dome

Just what Minnesota needs, another mall. They will need to jam as many sideshow attractions as possible into that fucker to distract from the shit product their team puts out. Besides, I am still not convinced they won’t fuck this up. There are way to many of those half-wit Canadians involved.

Has anyone heard of a possible name for this abortion yet? “The Jesse Ventura Area 51 Porn Thunderdome” or “Stuart Smalley’s Gosh Darn It I’m Good Enough Stadium” The options are endless.

Believe it when it’s really built. Just another sucker move to keep the Queens playing in that Humpty Dump toilet for 3 more years.
