Favre Admits Leaving Messages For Sterger
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre admitted leaving messages for Jenn Sterger when they were both with the New York Jets, according to Fox Sports. Favre, however, denied texting her photos of his dick.
Favre made the admission when he met with NFL officials last week.
The league is investigating the incident and Favre could potentially face a suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. Sterger, who hasn’t spoken to league officials yet, is key to the investigation.
Her manager, Phil Reese, put speculation to rest that Sterger is seeking a financial settlement from Favre.
“Jenn’s willingness to cooperate with the NFL’s investigation is not for sale,” Sterger’s manager Phil Reese said, denying a report that a financial settlement with Favre would buy her silence. “This decision is ultimately Jenn’s to make, and hers only.”
The NFL expects to wrap the investigation up this week.
