From the You’re A Rich Athlete, Watch Your Ass Files comes this number: several members of the Green Bay Packers were interviewed as part of the investigation of two alleged sexual assaults at a Lake Delton condo.
The incident apparently took place early Saturday morning, after The McGovern Charity Golf Tournament held in nearby Wisconsin Dells and hosted by Packers’ linebacker Clay Matthews.
Seven Packers were interviewed by police. Six are not considered suspects. Matt Flynn, Josh Sitton, Korey Hall, Brad Jones, Clay Matthews and Khalil Jones were interviewed and released.
The seventh player was also interviewed and released, but is still under investigation. His name has not been released.
I’m not going to speculate about what happened here, but I will say this: if you’re a professional athlete, you probably shouldn’t be shagging the local talent. Just ask Ben Roethlisberger, who’s been accused of sexual assault twice, but never convicted of anything.
What’s that Kanye West song?
I’m not saying it happened in this case, but broads know who you are, they know how much you make and that makes you a target.
Anyway, if you want to speculate about who the unnamed Packers’ player might be, here are the rest of the Packers who were scheduled to play in the tournament: Chad Clifton, Mark Tauscher, Daryn Colledge, Mason Crosby, Brandon Jackson, Kregg Lumpkin and Brandon Underwood.
