Rollin’ Out The Red Carpet For Brett Favre

Welcome back, cunt!

I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but Total Packers has been Brett Favre free for a couple days. Trust me, I’d prefer to keep it that way. But I just stumbled upon something that made my head spin.

On November 1st, the city of Green Bay will be rolling out the red carpet for a Minnesota Viking. That’s right, Mayor Jim Schmitt is hell-bent on welcoming Bizzaro Brett with open arms.

In an article posted by Fox 11 WLUK, Schmitt is quoted wondering what his city can do to welcome back traitor scum.

“I’m interested to see what we could and should do here I think it’s an opportunity to show how classy this community is,” said Schmitt.

Schmitt said he’s received homecoming ideas from the public that include creating the world’s biggest waffle in the shape of a number four to naming a beer after Favre.

Schmitt said he’ll use the top four ideas before the November 1st game.

And I suppose the taxpayers will be left to pay for this giant waffle, right?

But seriously, I have an idea Mr. Mayor. To commemorate this historical event, let’s have a parade. One float can have a giant knife sticking out of the back of a cartoon State of Wisconsin. Another float can show a drunken Viking dry humping the corpse of Vince Lombardi. Either one would be just as classy as spending any money or time welcoming this guy to Green Bay.

Trust me, Brett Favre doesn’t care. He doesn’t appreciate it. He’s only said nice things about Packers fans when asked directly about it. This is an old gunslinger who couldn’t wait to turn his back on the Green Bay Packers.

He is the enemy now. He is a Viking. He is Bizzaro Brett.

Save the red carpet for when/if we retire his number.

If.

Green Bay is a special place with a special professional sports franchise that had a special player. If Brett was concerned with Green Bay, the fans, or what we have given him he would not be a Viking. This isn’t difficult to figure out. When he comes to town he needs to be treated like any other quarterback for our enemy, the Minnesota Vikings. If Green Bay wants to be classy, Schmitt should take the high road and be a professional policy administrator: watch the game and cheer for the GREEN AND GOLD.

Everyone looks out for his own best interest before any collective.. is there anything wrong with that? Perhaps Brett does care more about winning games then fans, so what.

And by the way, for you guys to be personalizing football so much really goes to show how much lives you have, its ridiculous.. who cares.

Lets just watch the game and enjoy the physicality of it.. must we be mired into these “E! Channel” styled bitch fests.

And no, Brett isn’t out to stab fans in the back, you give yourself to much kudos in believeing that, really. He just doesn’t, and he doesn’t have to, I respect the man who plays for himself, not for his fans.

**CORRECTION: “He just doesn’t CARE, and he doesn’t have to, I respect the man who plays for himself, not for his fans.

Here is an idea Mayor; Shut your mouth ! Brett is a traitor. This was always his plan from the outset and if anyone does not believe that? you need to re-examine the whole situation. He will get what he deserves in the end. I have lost all respect for him as a human being. He was a great player for us, however I had no idea he was such a bitch about everything, even when he was with the Packers. I wonder when bitch Brett arrived and gool ole Brett left. I’m Guessing when Holgren left and Sherman (not forgetting Rhodes)planted his lips square on Brett’s ASS!!!!
